Pink eye

So Saturday Audreys eye was snotty and watery. We out some drops in it and it seemed better. That night it got snottier and pink. We put more drops in. Today we get up and both her eyes are swollen. She is miserable. We take her to the after hours clnic and she has a fever, severe pink eye a ear infection. My poor princess. So now I am dealing with another ear infection. I just spent 6 weeks with Wyatt and ear infections.
We have to put drops in her eyes 4 times a day. Now if you have had to put drops in a childs eyes before then you know it is like wrestling a animal. Its talke 2 people to hold her down and she cries and cries. I feel so bad for her.

Evan turned 6

Evan turned 6 on Sat (Nov 21). It seems just like yesterday that he was a baby. He is growing up so quickly. He had a Ben 10 party. We held the part at my inlaws garage. He had about 8 kids there and it was a great number. We decorated cookies, beat up a sponge bob pinanta and played outside with side walk chalk. I could not believe it was warm enough to play outside but it was beautiful. The kids outlined their bodies so the drive way looked like a crime scene lol. Evan loved his cake I made and tasted good too.
He got tons of Bakugons. He had only 1 before the party and he now has 20. I don't really get them but he loves them. He is also really getting into games and he got 3 new games: Operation, Connect 4 and Sorry Sliders.
Both my sisters where at the party and thats rare we all 3 are together. I really enjoyed having them there.

The adventures of Wyatt

Wyatt is such a goof. He is really walking alot. He is walking on the insides of his feet and ankles but hopefully PT will help that. When he walks around or pretty much does anything his mouth is wide open and tongue hanging out. Maybe its a concentration thing lol. Its very cute

He is really getting into EVERYTHING!!! He even hides his diapers lol. Sometimes I just wanna hog tie him for 5 mins so I can use the restroom lol. Then he turns around and says huggie huggie (thats his word for hug). How can I be irritated when he says that and gives me such a big hug.

Fondant

I made a batch of marshmellow fondant last night. It will keep for a week so I can use it when I make Evans birthday cake. I am going to dye the fondant green, use yellow frosting when adding extras on the cake. I got a Ben 10 alien to put on top.
I am excited, this is my first detailed cake I am going to make.

The Joys of the 6 year boy

My oldest child Evan is soon to be 6 (Nov. 21). Sometime I think of him as the parental test child since he is our first and everything is new.
We have ventured into the Why do I have to do what you say? and I don't want to! territory. He doesn't understand why he has to do what we say if he doesn't want to. Poor kid, such a hard but very important lesson to learn in life.

Magic Bullet

Yes I know the nme sounds like some kinky sex toy. Its infact an awesome kitchen gadget that I really want.

PIcky Eater

So princess Audrey is the Worlds pickiest eater. I can count on one hand the things she will eat. She will eat NO meat, few fruits and veggies. She will eat spaghetti noodles with cheese, pb & J, yogurt, breakfast foods and of course junk food.
We rarely give her junk food, sweets or juice. I prepare balanced meals and offer them to her. She will sit there and whine. She does not get anything else if she wont try 1 bite. Getting her to try one bite is like teaching a pig to fly.
She has even gone so long refusing foods that she has gotten phyically ill.
I know she needs to eat but I have 4 other people to feed too and cooking her noodles every night is not realistic.
I just want her to eat like a normal person.

I want I want

When my children watch cartoons they spend every commercial break saying, "Mommy can I have that?", "Mommy I want that!".
Seriously, I get so sick of them asking for every little thing. An tv networks have gone crazy with the toy commercial.

How to plan a Ben 10 birthday party | eHow.com

I just realized Evan's 6th birthday is in 2 weeks. Holy cow. I have not really started planning it yet. I know we are going to have it at my inlaws garage so there will be plenty of space.

Evan LOVES Ben 10 so we are going to have a Ben 10 party. I found this article on throwing a Ben 10 party. Such great suggestions. I better get into party planning mode.

Homemade Laundry Soap

So all 3 kids have exzema, Wyatt the can worst. They can't wear anythinf until it is washed and I have to use the dye free, purfume free soaps. I go through alot of laundry soap with 5 people to do laundry for. So I decided to make my own. So far I love it. The kids have had no reactions too it.

This is where I got the recipe

Homemade Liquid Laundry Soap- Front or top load machine- best value

4 Cups - hot tap water
1 Fels-Naptha soap bar (I couln't this soap so I used ZOTE which I found in the laundry section at walmart)
1 Cup - Arm & Hammer Super Washing Soda*
½ Cup Borax

- Grate bar of soap and add to saucepan with water. Stir continually over medium-low heat until soap dissolves and is melted.

-Fill a 5 gallon bucket half full of hot tap water. Add melted soap, washing soda and Borax. Stir well until all powder is dissolved. Fill bucket to top with more hot water. Stir, cover and let sit overnight to thicken.

-Stir and fill a used, clean, laundry soap dispenser half full with soap and then fill rest of way with water. Shake before each use. (will gel)

-Optional: You can add 10-15 drops of essential oil per 2 gallons. Add once soap has cooled. Ideas: lavender, rosemary, tea tree oil.

-Yield: Liquid soap recipe makes 10 gallons.

-Top Load Machine- 5/8 Cup per load (Approx. 180 loads)

-Front Load Machines- ¼ Cup per load (Approx. 640 loads)

Then when they recieve the book you get a credit which you can use to order books from others. I have swapped 150 books so far. I love it. My buddy name is evanaudrey.

Tuckered Out

Poor Wyatt, got tired while i was making lunch. ffell asleep and was snoring.

Holloween

Evan and Audrey got to pick out their own costumes this year. We went trick or treating in Ferguson. This was the first year James had off so he got to go with us.

Evan was a green skeleton. Not sure why he wanted a green one.

Audrey was a Rainbow princess.

Wyatt was Bumblebee winnie the pooh. This costume the other kids also wore so it is kind of a tradition. It was a tad small but we made it work.
